Lado Sarai is where we have set up shop for Prescience Engineering Pvt Ltd, at F 185 to be exact. It’s an interesting part of New Delhi with a mix of different businesses and old buildings. Our place is an engineering firm, so it is filled with all sorts of things you might expect, like blueprints, measuring tools, and some heavy equipment. It’s not the kind of place where you would want to wear your best clothes because there is always some dust or grease around from the projects. We have a small group of people working here who have been with us for years. They know the machines inside and out. The office part of the building is just a few desks and some old filing cabinets that have seen better days. We don't really have a marketing team or anyone to make things look pretty for a website. We just focus on the engineering projects that come across our desks. Sometimes we stay late when a deadline is approaching, and other times it is quiet enough to catch up on all the boring paperwork. The street outside can be a bit narrow, so parking is always a bit of a headache for anyone visiting us. We like the grit of Lado Sarai though. It feels like a place where things actually get built and designed. It is honest work and we just take it one day at a time, making sure things are done right for everyone involved.
