If you find yourself in East of Kailash, you might end up in Jaggi Wali Gali. That’s where we are. Powerquick Technologies (P) Ltd. sits on the fourth floor of building A-45. It’s a bit of a walk up, but you get used to it. Amritpuri is a crowded area, typical for New Delhi, really. There’s always someone shouting outside or a scooter zooming past. Our office is tucked away from the main road noise mostly. It’s not a huge space, but we have enough room for our desks and some snacks in the corner. We spend a lot of time looking at screens and talking amongst ourselves. Being in 110065 means we are close to everything, which is handy. We don't have a receptionist in a suit or any of that. Usually, whoever is closest to the door just opens it. We try to keep things simple. Dealing with the Delhi heat in the summer is probably our biggest challenge. The fans are always going. We aren’t trying to change the world, just trying to do our jobs well and get through the week. Sometimes we order lunch together from the place around the corner. It’s a small team, and we’ve been together a while. If you’re looking for a fancy tech office with bean bags, this isn’t it. It’s just a place where work happens every day. It's dusty and loud outside, but inside we just focus on getting through our tasks.
