Our office is tucked away in Greater Kailash Enclave Part-I. D-14 is the house number. It is a bit quieter than the main market areas, which is nice when you are trying to focus on export details. Poddar Exim International isn’t some massive corporation with a glass skyscraper. We are more of a family-run kind of place. You walk in and it feels like a workspace, not a museum. There are piles of documents on the tables and usually someone is arguing with a logistics company on the phone. That is just how the day goes here. We have been based in GK for quite a while. The neighborhood has changed, but we have stayed pretty much the same. We handle a lot of international trade stuff, which means a lot of late nights because of the time differences. Sometimes the internet acts up, or the courier is late, and we just deal with it. It is a practical way to work. We don't have a receptionist in a suit; you will probably just run into one of us near the door. We prefer it this way because it is more direct. No layers of management to go through. If something needs doing, we just do it. It is a small, dedicated group here. We like the local feel of the Enclave. It makes coming to work a bit more pleasant than being in a sterile office park. We just take things as they come and keep the business moving.
