We operate out of B-34 in the Shalimar Apartments over in Masjid Moth. It’s right in South Extension II, which is a pretty well-known part of New Delhi. Pioneer Polyleathers Pvt Ltd has been here for a good while. The office is part of the apartment complex, so it has a more lived-in feel than a cold office building. We like it that way. It’s easier to focus when you aren't in a glass box. There’s always someone coming or going, and the parking can be a bit of a puzzle sometimes. Inside, it’s mostly shelves filled with samples and folders. We handle a lot of the leather-related work from these desks. It can get a little noisy when the phones start ringing all at once, but we’re used to it by now. The neighborhood is full of shops and other businesses, so there is always somewhere to grab a quick snack or a tea. We don't use much fancy language to describe ourselves. We just show up, do the work, and try to keep things moving with the materials we provide. It’s a basic operation but it gets the job done. Sometimes the stairs are a bit much if the lift is slow, but that’s just life in Delhi. We keep things simple and don’t worry too much about looking like a big corporation. It is all about the work we do day after day.
