Peddy Pet Clinic & Fish Gallery

Our little shop is over in Sarita Vihar at the Janta Flats. It’s Shop Number 18 A. If you are near Gurukul School in Block M or N, you can’t miss us. We have the pet clinic on one side and the fish gallery on the other. It gets a bit crowded with the tanks and the animal supplies. Usually, the first thing we do is feed the fish and check the water quality. The sound of the bubbles from the filters is constant throughout the day. People bring in their dogs or cats for checkups quite often. It’s a small space, so things can get a bit loud when a couple of different dogs start barking at the same time. We have a lot of fish tanks lined up with different kinds of fish for people to look at. Some days we are just busy cleaning out the glass or restocking the bird seed and dog food. It is not a shiny, high-end boutique or anything. It’s just a practical place for people in Delhi who have pets and need supplies. We deal with a lot of regular customers from the flats nearby. Sometimes people just stop by to look at the colorful fish while they are out walking. We try to keep things tidy, but with animals around, there’s always something to sweep up or a spill to wipe down. It’s just me and a helper most of the time, so we stay pretty busy from morning till we close up at night. There's always a lot to do.
