Ordinary Chits Private Limited

Our place is over in Jeevan Nagar. The address is a bit confusing because it’s House Number 87 but the old number was 49. It’s in the IV/F block. South Delhi can be like that sometimes with the numbering systems. It’s a small street and we are right there in the middle of it. The office is basically part of the building where people live, so it feels very much like a neighborhood thing. We do chit funds here. People walk in from the street, maybe they’ve known us for a long time. There is a small desk where we keep the registers. The floor is that old-style stone. We don't have a receptionist or anything fancy like that. You just walk in and talk to whoever is sitting there at the time. Usually, it's just the sound of the papers shuffling and the occasional scooter passing by outside. It gets a bit dusty because of the construction nearby, but we try to keep it clean. It isn't a high-rise office or anything like that. Just a simple room where the work gets done. We have a small kettle for making tea when it gets cold in the winter. Most days are pretty quiet until the evening comes and people finish their own jobs and stop by here to check their funds. It's just a normal part of the day for us. We have a stack of old newspapers in the corner too.
