Ojoy Skin Clinic

Our clinic is up on the second floor at 39 Mohammad Pur, right in the Bhikaji Cama Place area. It’s a pretty busy part of the city, so there’s always something going on outside the windows. To get to us, you have to head up the stairs or take the lift if it’s working that day. The office isn't huge, but it's enough for what we do. We’ve got a couple of treatment rooms and a small area where people wait their turn. We try to keep it tidy, but with the dust from the street, it’s a constant battle. Most of us here have been working together for a few years now, so we have a good rhythm going. We don't use any fancy language when talking to people; we just explain things like we would to a friend. The lighting is bright, which you need for skin work, but it can be a bit harsh after a long shift. We usually have the radio playing softly in the background to drown out the traffic noise from Mohammad Pur. It’s a practical little clinic. We don’t have a big reception team, so one of us usually just looks up from our desk when someone walks in. Sometimes we have to move boxes of supplies out of the way to make more room. It's just the way it is when you're working in a space like this. We're just here to do our jobs and then head home.
