N.N. & Co.

N.N. & Co. is on the first floor of Q-31 in the Batla House area of Jamia Nagar. If you know Delhi, you know how busy this neighborhood is. There are people everywhere and the noise from the street never really stops. Our office is up a narrow set of stairs. It’s not a very large space, but we’ve managed to fit in everything we need to run the business. We have some old wooden desks and a few filing cabinets that have seen better days. The light from the window is okay in the morning, but we have to use the overhead lights most of the day. We are right in the middle of everything here, which is convenient for grabbing a quick snack or meeting someone. The building is older, so sometimes the pipes make noise or the stairs feel a bit uneven. We don't mind it much. We spend our days mostly on the computer or handling paperwork. It can get a bit cramped when more than three people are in the room, but we make it work. It's a humble spot but it’s been our home base for a while. We don't have a secretary out front; if you knock, someone will just yell for you to come in. It’s just how we do things here. We keep a small fridge in the corner for cold water during the summer months because the heat in Jamia Nagar is no joke. It is just us, working every day.
