Nirvaan Welfare Foundation

We set up the Nirvaan Welfare Foundation over at Plot No. 57 in Jay Park Society. It’s right near Rajnagar Chowk, just off Pandit Dindayal Marg. If you live around here, you know it’s a pretty active part of town. We’ve been in this spot for a bit now, just trying to be a positive presence for the people in the society and the surrounding streets. We aren't some big organization with offices in every city. It’s just this one place and a handful of us who care about what happens in our backyard. The office isn't anything special to look at, just a regular space where we keep our supplies and meet with whoever stops by. Sometimes people come in with questions, and other times they just want to see what we are up to. We try to stay practical about things. If there’s a problem in the neighborhood, we see if there’s a way we can help out. It’s not always easy, and we definitely don’t have all the answers. We just put in the hours and hope it makes some kind of difference for the families around 360004. It gets pretty hot here in the afternoons, but the fans keep things moving. We like being part of the Rajnagar community. It feels right to be working where we actually live. There is always something to do, whether it’s small or large.
