Our office for NICOLIAN GRANITES LLP is right at 48 Janpath which is a very central part of New Delhi. Being in Central Delhi means we are close to everything but the parking is a total nightmare for anyone visiting. Granites are what we handle and they are incredibly heavy and come in so many different colors and patterns. We spend a lot of time looking at samples and trying to explain the difference between one stone and another. The building at Janpath has its own history and we have been here for a while now. It is a busy atmosphere with people walking by all the time and the general hum of the city. We have some samples lying around the office and it can get a bit crowded when we have more than two people inside. Working with granite is a long-term thing because these stones last forever once they are installed. We mostly deal with the logistics of moving these heavy slabs from the quarries to the sites where they are needed. It involves a lot of coordination and sometimes things do not go as planned because of weather or transport issues. We just take it one day at a time and try to keep things moving as smoothly as we can from our little office on Janpath.
