New Delhi Tyre House

We are located at 31-32 in Jangpura Extn, right near the old Eros Cinema. Most people use the cinema as a landmark to find us since the street numbers can be confusing. It is a pretty busy street with cars and rickshaws constantly moving past. The shop is often filled with the smell of rubber, which you get used to after a few minutes. We have tyres stacked up everywhere, sometimes reaching almost to the ceiling. New Delhi Tyre House is a very hands-on kind of place. Our hands are usually dirty from handling the stock, and there is always a bit of dust on the floor. It is not the kind of shop where you will find air conditioning or plush chairs for waiting. We just have a few stools and a small desk where we keep the bills and the ledger. People stop by all day, some just to ask for directions or a bit of air. We have been in this part of Jangpura for years now. The traffic outside can be a nightmare during the evening, but that is just life in this city. We don't do a lot of fancy advertising; people mostly just know we are here. When we aren't busy with a customer, we are usually rearranging the stacks or checking the inventory. It is hard work, but it is what we know. We close up when the sun goes down and the street starts to quiet down a little bit.
