Nedar Foundation

Our place is over in Chitharanjan Park, or CR Park as most people call it. We are at House No-A-24, specifically on the first floor. This part of South Delhi has a very specific feel to it. It’s a bit more residential than some of the other market areas, but it still has its own rhythm. The address says Aali, but we mostly just think of it as being part of the CR Park neighborhood. Being on the first floor means we don't have to climb too many stairs, which is nice when it's humid. The house is like many others on the street. It’s got that solid, lived-in feel to it. Sometimes we hear the vegetable sellers calling out from the street below. It’s a nice enough spot to spend the day. We have enough room for our files and the few computers we use for Nedar Foundation. The lighting isn't the best in the back rooms, but we’ve got some lamps to help out. We aren't trying to be anything we aren't. Most of the people around here know each other, so it feels safe and steady. We keep the windows open when the weather allows, but usually, the Delhi heat means they stay shut. It's a practical location for us. Not much to look at from the outside, but it’s where we are every weekday doing our work. It is just a normal South Delhi house.
