Myaks India Foundation

We are based at number 153 in Chirag Delhi, right in the middle of everything in South Delhi. The 110017 area is always busy, so there is never really a dull moment outside our windows. Myaks India Foundation operates from here, and it is a pretty straightforward setup. The office is just a place where we keep our files and meet up to talk about what we are doing next. It’s not a corporate office with glass walls or anything like that. It is more of a local spot where people know us. Sometimes the traffic in Chirag Delhi makes it hard for visitors to find a place to park, so we tell everyone to just take the rickshaw. Inside, we have our usual spots for sitting and working. The tea guy comes around a few times a day, which is always a highlight for us. It gets a bit dusty being so close to the main roads, but that is just part of living and working in this part of Delhi. We have a few computers that have seen better days and some shelves that are leaning a little bit. It feels like home to us, though. We spend more time here than at our own houses some weeks. It is just a practical space for practical work. Nothing more, nothing less. We like being part of the South Delhi community and seeing the same faces every day.
