Greater Kailash-1 is a bit different from other parts of Delhi. N-81 is where M/S Pegasus Buildtech Pvt Ltd is located. It’s a nice enough area, though the traffic on the main roads can still be a pain in the neck. Our office is a place where we spend too many hours looking at screens and talking on the phone. It’s a bit more settled here than some of the construction sites we deal with. We have a small team, and everyone pretty much knows what everyone else is doing. There’s no big mystery to how we run things. We just show up, handle the emails, and try to keep everything on track. The office has that smell of old paper and coffee that never seems to go away. We don’t have those fancy open-plan offices you see on TV. It’s more traditional, with actual walls and doors. Sometimes we stay late when there’s a deadline, and we end up ordering food from the local spots nearby. It’s a regular life. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a big lobby. We just want to get the work finished so we can go home to our families. It’s a practical way to live. We’ve been part of the GK-1 scene for a while now and we’re quite used to it. The neighbors are mostly quiet, which helps when we actually need to focus.
