M/S. Al Shafar General Contracting Co. has an office in Okhla, New Delhi, specifically at 33/C/1 on the ground floor. Jamia Nagar is a very busy part of the city, and our spot is right in the thick of it. Ejaz Rizwan is one of the folks here who handles the day-to-day stuff. The office is pretty basic—just some desks, some chairs, and a lot of project binders. It gets quite loud outside with the traffic and the people, but we just shut the door and focus on our work. We do general contracting, which means we’re always juggling five different things at once. One minute we’re talking about cement prices and the next we’re trying to find a plumber who can show up on short notice. We don't have a "philosophy" or a "mission" that we talk about; we just look at the schedule and try to stick to it. The streets of Okhla can be a nightmare for deliveries, so we spend a lot of time on the phone coordinating with drivers. It’s a practical, no-nonsense kind of place. We don’t have a fancy website or do much advertising. We just show up, do the contracting work, and try to keep everything on track as much as the Delhi chaos allows. Sometimes things go wrong, but we just fix them and keep going until the project is finished.
