Mitutoyo South Asia is tucked away in the Okhla Industrial Area Phase-1. Our building is C-122. If you know the area, you know it’s a lot of warehouses and workshops. We fit right in. We’ve been here in Delhi for a long time now. The industrial estate is always humming with noise and trucks. Our day starts early to beat some of the traffic on the way in. We deal with precision tools and measurements mostly. It is a lot of looking at fine details. Inside the office, it is a bit more controlled than the dusty streets outside. We have our desks and our storage areas all set up. It isn't a showroom; it's a place where we actually work. Some of the staff have been with us since the beginning. We know each other well. Sometimes the power goes out in the area, but we just wait it out or use the backup. It’s part of life in Okhla. We get deliveries coming in and out throughout the week. It keeps us on our toes. We don’t spend much time on fancy decorations. The walls are mostly covered with charts or shelves. It is a functional space for a functional business. Most folks who come to see us are looking for something specific for their own factories. We just show them what we have and talk through the specs. It is a simple way to do business, and it works for us.
