Microsoft Non-Wovens

We are located at D 91/1 in Okhla Phase I. The name on the sign says Microsoft Non-Wovens, but we are a local outfit, nothing like the big tech company people think of. We work with non-woven fabrics and materials. The warehouse is a big open space that gets pretty hot during the summer months. We have rolls of material stacked up to the ceiling in some places. It’s a lot of physical labor, moving things around and cutting them to size. The crew here is small, and we’ve all been working together for a long time, so we don't need to talk much to get things done. We just know the drill. We aren't into fancy presentations or anything like that. If a customer comes by, we just show them the rolls we have in stock. We don't have a polished sales pitch. The floor is concrete and usually has some loose threads and dust on it. It’s an industrial work environment, plain and simple. We spend most of our time making sure the quality is okay and that we aren't wasting material. Sometimes we have to stay late to finish a big batch, but that is just part of the job. We take our tea breaks together outside near the gate. It’s a basic business, and we try to keep it running smooth without any unnecessary drama or complications.
