You’ll find Meera and the rest of us over at Siri Fort Anad Lok, 48. It’s a decent neighborhood and we’ve been here long enough that we know most of the people on the block. The office itself is quite simple and doesn't have any of those high-tech gadgets or expensive decorations. We have some sturdy wooden desks and a lot of shelves filled with folders and old books. It’s the kind of place where you can actually sit down and get some thinking done without being bothered by too much noise. We don’t have a formal way of doing things here. If something needs to be fixed, we usually just try to handle it ourselves instead of calling someone. There’s a small kitchen area in the back where we make our own lunches and drink way too much tea during the cold months. We don't spend any time on self-promotion or trying to look bigger than we are. We’re just a small operation doing our daily work. Sometimes the internet is slow or the power goes out for a bit, but we just take it as a chance to have a break and chat. It’s a very human way to work, and we wouldn’t want it any other way. We’ve stayed at number 48 because it feels right for us. It’s a practical, quiet spot where we can just be ourselves and get the job done without any fuss.
