Medopticanteen Foundation

You can find us over at H-9 in Green Park Main. It is a busy part of the city, and we stay pretty occupied most of the time. We run all our daily operations from this location and try our best to make sure everyone who stops in is looked after. It is not a huge place by any means, but we make it work for us. Most of the people working here live nearby, so we know the local area very well. We started this whole thing because we saw there was a bit of a gap that needed filling in the community. Now it has just become a daily routine of getting things ready each morning. Some days start out a bit chaotic when we are trying to get ourselves organized, but it usually settles down by the afternoon. We do not really do anything flashy or high-end. It is mostly just a lot of hard work and trying to stay on top of all the small details. The building is easy to spot once you are on the main road. We have had to fix up the place ourselves a couple of times, so it has got a bit of a lived-in character now. Some of the chairs do not match and the paint is a bit thin in spots, but it feels right. We talk to the neighbors a lot and stay involved with what is happening on the street.
