Mealmonks Foundation

People often ask about Mealmonks Foundation when they walk past H.No. 4H/54 in B.H. Colony. We have been working from this spot on Bhootnath Road for some time now. It is not a fancy building, just a regular house where we keep things organized and get our daily work done. Most days start early with someone unlocking the front gate and checking the mail that came in overnight. The neighborhood is usually pretty quiet in the early mornings, but Bhootnath Road gets busy with traffic and people later on in the afternoon. We spend a lot of time sitting at the old wooden tables inside, just going through papers and figuring out what needs to be done next for the community. There isn't a big staff here, just a few of us who know the local area quite well. Sometimes the tea stall down the street brings over a few cups while we talk through our plans. We do not have a big sign out front, so people sometimes miss the entrance if they are not looking closely for the house number. Being in B.H. Colony makes it easy for locals to drop by if they have questions or need to talk to someone. It is just how we operate. We do not do much advertising because the work usually keeps us busy enough on its own. The walls inside could use a fresh coat of paint, but that is not really a priority for us right now. We focus more on the tasks at hand. It is a simple setup, and it works for us.
