Our office for Mdl Energy Pvt. Ltd. is located in Zakir Nagar, which is part of the Jamia Nagar and Okhla area in New Delhi. The address is E-158. If you’ve ever been to Zakir Nagar, you know the streets are narrow and always full of people and rickshaws. It’s a vibrant place, but it can be a bit overwhelming if you aren't used to it. Our space is tucked inside one of these buildings. It’s a simple setup with just enough room for us to sit and handle our daily business. We don't have a big sign outside, just a small plate with the name on it. Inside, it’s mostly just shelves full of documents and a couple of computers that have been around for years. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we haven't found the time to do it yet. We're usually too busy with our work to worry about the decor. Being in Okhla means we are close to a lot of other businesses, which is helpful. The power goes out every now and then, which is pretty common for this part of Delhi, so we just take a break and wait for it to come back. It’s a very local way of working. We know the chai wallah around the corner and the guys at the stationery shop. It’s a tight-knit community, and we feel like a part of it. We just come in and do what needs doing.
