Mayo Design

Mayo Design is based out of C-159 in Greater Kailash-1. If you know Delhi, you know GK-1 is a pretty nice area to be in. We work out of this space and it’s got a good vibe to it. It’s a residential-style building, so it doesn't feel like you’re walking into a cold, corporate office. We’ve got our desks set up and there’s usually some music playing in the background while we work on our projects. It’s not a huge team, just a few of us who actually enjoy what we do. We don’t really follow a strict dress code or anything like that. Most days, we’re just in jeans and t-shirts. The street outside is usually lined with cars, and it can be a bit of a pain to find parking, but once you’re inside, it’s quite peaceful. We’ve been in this spot for a while and haven't felt the need to move. It’s comfortable and it works for our creative process. We don't have a big mission statement on the wall or anything like that. We just focus on the design work and try to make things look decent. Sometimes we stay late when we’re on a roll, and other times we head out early if the weather is nice. It’s a flexible way to work and it keeps us from getting burnt out. We like the independence of being here in GK-1.
