Mahima Export

Our address is 690 Chirag Delhi, and that’s where Mahima Export has been running for a while now. Chirag Delhi is an old place with a lot of history, and the lanes are narrow and winding. We use the ground floor and the basement for storage and packing. It gets a bit damp in the rainy season, so we have to be careful with the cardboard boxes. We export various items, so there is always a lot of bubble wrap and tape around. The sound of the tape dispensers is probably the most common noise in our shop. We don’t have a big sign outside, just a small one near the door so people don't walk past. It’s a busy neighborhood, and there’s always someone selling snacks or tea right outside the entrance. We spend a lot of time on the phone talking to shipping agents and checking on where the containers are. It’s a lot of paperwork and making sure the labels are stuck on the right side. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a fancy office; we just want the goods to reach where they are supposed to go without getting damaged. Most of us live within walking distance, so we know the local shortcuts to avoid the traffic on the main road. It’s a simple, hardworking environment where everyone knows their role. We just keep moving the boxes out.
