M S Matharu & Co is based out of Gautam Nagar 103A/1. The office has been here for a long time, and you can tell by the way the floorboards creak. We have these massive steel cupboards filled with old files and records that probably haven't been opened in a decade. It’s a small team, mostly just me and a couple of others who have been working together forever. There’s always a faint smell of old paper and ink in the air. We don't have any flashy signs outside, just a small nameplate that’s starting to peel. Most of our day is spent on the phone or writing out long reports on these old desks. The ceiling fan wobbles a bit, but it does the job. We get a lot of people walking in because they saw the name and thought we did something else. It’s a bit of a quiet spot, away from the main road noise, which is nice for getting work done. We drink a lot of tea and usually eat lunch together at the big table in the middle. There’s no big corporate vibe here, just a bunch of people who know their way around the business. We keep things straightforward and don't bother with anything too fancy. It's a modest place but it works for us and our clients.
