Lion Emblems is tucked away at Flat No. 55 in Khan Market. It’s a small space, but we manage to get a lot done. If you've been to Khan Market, you know it’s a mix of all sorts of shops and offices. We specialize in making emblems and badges. It’s a very specific craft. We have boxes of threads and backing materials stacked up to the ceiling. It’s not a fancy corporate office. It’s a workshop where we actually sit and design things on the fly. We do work for schools, clubs, and sometimes bigger organizations that need a logo turned into a patch. Most of the time, the air is filled with the sound of embroidery machines humming away. We don't have a big staff. It's just a few of us who know how to handle the needles and the digitizing. Customers usually drop by with a rough sketch on a piece of paper, and we figure out how to make it look good in thread. We've been in this flat for a good while now. The stairs are a bit steep, but people still find their way to us. We don't do much talking about ourselves. We just show you the samples of what we've made before and let you decide. It’s a steady, quiet business in one of the busiest parts of Delhi.
