Laxmi & Ashok Wason

We are located over in Lajpat Nagar II, right by the National Park area. It’s a nice part of town, mostly residential but with plenty of businesses tucked away in the streets. This place, number 61, has been our base for quite some time. Laxmi and Ashok started things here, and we’ve just kept going. It’s not a huge operation by any means. We have a couple of rooms where we keep our files and meet anyone who needs to see us. The park nearby is a good landmark if you’re trying to find us for the first time. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years. New shops open up, old ones close, but we’ve stayed put. Our days are pretty standard. We start in the morning, handle whatever calls or visits come our way, and wrap up by evening. It’s a very hands-on way of doing things. We don't have a big staff, so whoever picks up the phone is probably one of the owners. It feels more personal that way. We like being in this part of Delhi because everything is accessible. You can get almost anything you need within a few blocks. We don't really do much advertising. People mostly find out about us because they live nearby or someone they know told them where we are. It’s simple and it works for us. We just focus on getting through the daily tasks without any fuss or unnecessary complication.
