Laing Orourke

You can find Laing Orourke over at Flat No. 41 D in Pocket 10 of the Kalkaji Extension. It’s a pretty standard apartment setup in New Delhi, but it works well for what we need. We use the space to run our day-to-day business, mostly keeping track of construction details and making sure the guys on site have what they need. It gets a little cramped when everyone is in at the same time, but we make it work. There are files everywhere and usually someone is on the phone talking about materials or schedules. We like being in Kalkaji because it’s easy to get to other parts of the city from here. The flat isn't a showroom; it's a working office where we deal with the messy reality of building things. Some days are slow, and some days we can’t even find a place to put down a coffee cup. We don't bother with fancy receptionists or big logos on the door. It’s just us, working hard and trying to stay ahead of the next job. People drop by occasionally, and we just talk across the desks about whatever needs fixing or ordering for the week. It’s a very local way of doing things in 110019, and it has served us okay so far. We just focus on getting the tasks finished and staying on top of the paperwork without much fuss.
