KUMAR TANYA

My name is Tanya Kumar and I work out of 6, Siri Fort Road. It is a nice enough area, though parking can be a real nightmare during the day when everyone is at work. I have been here for a while now, slowly building up what I do. My workspace is pretty simple. I have a desk, a few chairs for visitors, and a shelf full of reference books that I use daily. I don't have a big staff or a fancy corporate setup. It is just me handling the day-to-day tasks. Most of my work involves sitting in front of a screen or talking to people on the phone. The room gets a lot of afternoon sun, which makes it nice and warm but also makes it hard to see the monitor sometimes. I try to keep a routine, opening up at the same time every morning. There are days when the workload feels like too much, and I end up staying much later than I intended, sometimes until the streetlights come on. The tea seller down the street knows my order by heart now because I go there so often for a break. It is not an exciting life, but it is steady. I like being my own boss and deciding how things should be done. People who come to see me usually know what they want, and I do my best to help them out without any fuss or unnecessary delay.
