Karan Press is located at Z-41 in the Okhla Indl. Area, Phase-Ii. It’s a busy place with a lot of noise from the printing machines. We’ve been here for quite some time now. The ground floor is where all the heavy equipment sits, and it vibrates the whole building when everything is running at once. We usually have ink stains on our hands by the end of the day. It’s just the nature of the work. The office part is just a small mezzanine level where we handle the paperwork and talk to customers. It’s often dusty because of all the paper we move around. We don’t have a fancy showroom. If you come in, you’ll see stacks of paper and boxes waiting to be shipped out. Most of our workers live nearby and have been with us for years. We know the machines inside out, even the old ones that need a bit of a kick to start sometimes. Okhla is a tough place to work because of the traffic and the heat, but we’ve made it our home. We don't spend money on advertising or big displays. We just focus on getting the printing done correctly and on time. It’s a loud, busy, and sometimes messy business, but it’s what we do. We drink a lot of water and keep the machines greased up. That is pretty much our daily routine here at the press, and it keeps us out of trouble.
