Kanwarji Const. Comp. is based out of Room No.-8 on the fourth floor of Subrati App. over in Okhla Main Market. If you’ve ever walked through Jamia Nagar, you know how packed it gets. Getting up to the fourth floor is a bit of a climb, especially in the Delhi heat. The building, House No. 117, is right in the thick of the market. You can hear the vegetable sellers and the bikes from the window. Our room isn't huge, but we’ve fit everything we need for the construction company inside. There’s always some dust coming in from the market outside, but that’s just life in New Delhi-110025. We spend a lot of time looking at plans or talking to folks on the phone. It’s not a shiny office. We have some old wooden furniture and a lot of paper stacks. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit there waiting for the backup or just take a break. It's a real place where work happens. We don’t have fancy signs. People just know where Kanwarji Const. Comp. is located. It’s a busy life here in Okhla. We start early and usually stay until the market starts to quiet down a little bit. It’s the kind of place where you know your neighbors and everyone is just trying to get through their list for the day. Fourth floor sounds high, but the view of the market is actually okay.
