Kajaria Ceramics Ltd, New Delhi

Our Kajaria Ceramics Ltd office is based in Zakir Nagar, right in the Okhla area of New Delhi. The address is 242/22B. If you know Zakir Nagar, you know it’s a tight, busy neighborhood with a lot going on. Our place is no different. It’s packed with samples of ceramic tiles and various bits of paperwork scattered across the desks. We spend the majority of our day coordinating deliveries through the narrow streets, which is never an easy task. The heat in Delhi during the summer makes the warehouse work pretty tough, but we just keep the fans going and get on with it. We handle a lot of requests for local housing projects. People come in looking for something specific, and we do our best to find it in the stacks of boxes we have. There’s no fancy showroom lighting here. It’s just the regular overhead bulbs and the natural light from the door. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a polished look. We are here to move tiles and make sure the builders get what they need on time. Sometimes the shipments are late because of the Delhi traffic, and we have to explain that to the customers. We just speak plainly and tell them the truth about the stock. It’s a busy, dusty, and sometimes loud environment, but it’s our daily reality in Okhla. We just focus on the task at hand.
