Johns Hopkins Indiafoundation

Johns Hopkins Indiafoundation is based at 6 Nehru Place. Specifically, we’re on the 3rd Floor of Devika Tower, in room 333. Nehru Place is always buzzing with people and traffic, being such a big commercial hub in South Delhi. It’s 110019 for the mail. To get to us, you have to deal with the elevators in Devika Tower, which can be a bit slow during the lunch hour when everyone is moving around. Our office on the third floor isn't massive, but it has enough room for our small team to sit and get things done. We have a lot of papers and folders everywhere because things get busy. The view from the window is just other buildings and the street below, which is always full of cars. It’s a very urban setting. We don’t have any fancy lobby or a receptionist in a uniform. You just walk in and someone will probably look up from their desk and say hello. The air conditioning works most of the time, which is lucky during the summer months. It’s a standard office setup with computers and a couple of printers that sometimes jam. We like being in Nehru Place because everything we need is right downstairs, from tea stalls to stationery shops. It's just a busy, functional workspace in a big tower where we spend our days and handle whatever tasks come our way. It's nothing special to look at, but it works for us.
