Jiv Wellwisher Foundation

We operate Jiv Wellwisher Foundation from the ground floor of Plot Number 13, located at Khasra Number 473 in O-Block, New Roshanpura. It’s a quiet part of Najafgarh in South West Delhi. Being on the ground floor makes it easy for everyone to stop by without having to worry about stairs. We have a simple office with a few tables and a lot of notebooks scattered around. Our work involves a lot of community coordination and checking in on people. The 110043 area is home to us, and we’ve built some good relationships with the neighbors over the years. We don't go for anything flashy; we just want a space that is functional and open to anyone who needs help. Sometimes the office gets a bit dusty because of the roadwork nearby, but we just wipe down the desks and keep going. There is usually a pot of tea on the burner and someone talking on the phone about a local project. We don't have a corporate structure or a big chain of command. It’s just a few of us making decisions as we go and trying to be as helpful as possible. Working out of New Roshanpura gives us a good perspective on what the local community actually needs. It’s a plain, honest place where we put in our hours and try to do some good.
