Jagat Singh Harbhajan Singh

Our workshop is at B-266 in the Okhla Industrial Area, Phase-I. It’s a loud place to be, surrounded by other factories and trucks constantly loading and unloading. We’ve been running as Jagat Singh Harbhajan Singh for a long time, and the name is well-known in this block. The space is mostly filled with machinery and raw materials. It’s not the kind of place where you’d want to wear your best clothes because everything is covered in a thin layer of grease or dust. We don't really have a separate office, just a desk in the corner where we keep the ledger and the phone. It’s a family-style environment even though it’s an industrial unit. We’ve worked through some very hot summers here with nothing but a couple of old ceiling fans to keep us going. Most of the guys on the floor have been with us for years, so we don't have to say much to get things done. We just focus on the task at hand and try to stay on top of the orders that come in. It’s hard work and the days are long, but there’s a certain rhythm to it that we’ve all grown to like. We finish up when the work is done, not necessarily when the clock says so. We don't have any corporate slogans, just a lot of tools and some heavy lifting every day.
