Indoor S/S Bses Rajdhani Power Limited Pushp Vihar Delhi

This is the 33/11Kv sub station over here in Pushp Vihar. We are part of the BSES Rajdhani Power Limited network. It’s basically just a utility site where we keep the electricity moving for the local area in Delhi 110017. Working at a power station means there is a lot of humming machinery and safety signs everywhere. It isn't the kind of place where customers come to hang out or browse. We just have our crew here making sure the transformers are doing what they are supposed to do. The building itself is pretty plain, just concrete walls and high fences. Inside, it's mostly switches and big cables. We spend a lot of time checking dials and filling out logs on clipboards. Delhi heat gets pretty intense in the summer months, and that's when the electrical load really picks up. You can feel the heat coming off the equipment sometimes. We don't have a big front office or a reception area with coffee and magazines. It's just a functional spot for the grid. Most of the guys working here have been doing this for years, so we know the quirks of the local lines and pipes. If there's a problem, we're the ones out there looking at the breakers and wires. It’s a lot of routine maintenance and making sure nothing trips at the wrong time. We aren't doing anything glamorous, just keeping the lights on in this part of the city. It’s just how it goes here.
