Indian Product

Working out of S-31 in Okhla Industrial Area Phase II means we’re right in the thick of the Delhi industrial scene. Indian Product isn't a flashy company. Our building is a bit gray and looks like every other place on the street, but it’s where we do all our sorting and shipping. The traffic in Okhla can be a nightmare, so we usually arrive early to beat the worst of it. Inside, it’s mostly open space with high ceilings and a lot of pallets stacked up. We have a small corner for the office staff, but even there, you can hear the noise from the street and the warehouse. We don’t use a lot of fancy technology, just the basics to keep track of what’s coming in and what’s going out. Some days are slow and we just sit around talking, while other days are so busy we barely have time to eat lunch. We usually order in from a local place nearby and eat at our desks. The light in the warehouse isn’t great, but we’ve gotten used to it. It’s a lot of physical work, moving boxes and checking labels. We’ve been at this address for quite a while now and the landlord is a decent guy. It’s just a regular job in a busy part of town, nothing more than that.
