You can find our office at the US Complex in Sarita Vihar, located at 120 Mathura Road. We are right across from Apollo Hospital and very close to the Apollo Jasola Metro Station. Being Ichinen Architects means we deal with a lot of technical details every single day. Architecture might sound like a fancy profession, but for us, it is mostly about solving difficult puzzles. We spend a lot of our time staring at computer screens and then heading out to construction sites to see if the builders are actually following the drawings we gave them. Mathura Road is always packed with heavy traffic, so we hear car horns all day long. Our office is a mix of old blueprints and newer technology. We do not use a lot of big, complicated words when we talk to our clients. We just explain where the walls need to go and why a window might work better on the other side of the room. It is very practical work. Sometimes the sun hits the office just right in the late afternoon, and we take a brief break for some tea. We are not a giant firm with hundreds of employees. It is just a dedicated group of us trying to get things right. Mistakes happen and deadlines get very tight, but we like seeing a building actually stand up. (241 words)
