Heal The Globe Foundation

We are situated out in Dera Mandi Village, which is a bit different from the usual busy city center. The office is on the ground floor, right at Kh. 774/20. It is a lot greener out here, and you can actually hear the birds in the morning. Heal The Globe Foundation is run from this simple building. We have a few rooms filled with desks and chairs for the volunteers and the staff. It is not a modern office building with elevators; it is more like a house that we turned into a workspace. We spend a lot of time talking to the people from the village and organizing the things we need to get done. The floors are stone, and we try to keep it cool by keeping the curtains drawn during the middle of the day. There is always someone coming in or out with some news or a question. We don't have a lot of fancy technology, just the basics to keep the records straight. Sometimes the power goes out for a few hours, so we sit outside in the shade and talk about the plans for the next week. It is a slow pace compared to the rest of Delhi, but we like it that way. It feels more connected to the ground. We just do the work that needs doing every single day. It is about helping out where we can and keeping the paperwork moving.
