Harsh Carpets is at E-4 in Lajpat Nagar-Iii. If you are looking for us, we are right behind Jagdish Stores and Moolchand Hospital, just off the Ring Road. It’s a busy spot, and you can always hear the traffic hum from the flyover. We deal with carpets, so the shop always has that specific smell of wool and jute. It’s a lot of heavy lifting, honestly. Moving those big rolls around isn't easy on the back, but we’re used to it. The showroom isn’t super modern; we have some old wooden racks and a lot of piles on the floor. Customers usually have to walk around the stacks to see everything. It gets a bit dusty because of all the fabric, but we try to keep it clean. We’ve been here for years, so we’ve seen the hospital expand and the market change around us. It’s a family-run kind of thing. We don’t have fancy uniforms or a front desk person. Usually, it’s just one of us sitting there, ready to unroll something if someone wants to see a pattern. Sometimes we sit out front when the weather is nice, just watching the cars go by on the Ring Road. It’s a bit of a tight space when we get a new shipment in, but we make it work. It’s just a regular local shop where we put in the hours every single day.
