We’ve been running Hair La Mode Hair Studio And Academy Private Limited out of Saidul Azaib for a while now. It’s right on the ground floor, number 49. Most people know us for doing hair, but we also teach folks who want to learn the trade. Saket is a busy spot, so we see a lot of different faces every day. It’s not fancy, just a regular place where people come to get a haircut or spend time practicing their styling skills. Sometimes the shop gets a bit crowded when the students are in, but we manage. We handle the usual stuff—cutting, coloring, and showing people how to hold the shears properly. The academy side of things keeps us on our toes because there is always someone new trying to figure out how to do a proper fade or a blow-dry. It’s just us working here, trying to get the job done right. We aren't trying to be some big corporate chain or anything like that. We just focus on the hair and the students. If you’re walking around South Delhi, you probably know where Saidul Azaib is. We’ve set up shop right there because it’s easy for people to find. We use the space we have to the best of our ability. It's a mix of a working salon and a classroom, so there's usually some hair on the floor and someone asking a question about highlights. That's just how it goes here.
