H. K. Vivek Overseas is based on the ground floor at 212 Shahpur Jat. If you have ever walked through the lanes of Shahpur Jat, you know it can be a bit confusing with all the twists and turns. Our office is right there on the street level, which makes it easy for deliveries to come and go. It is a fairly small space, often packed with boxes and samples waiting to be shipped out. We deal with a lot of overseas stuff, so there is always a lot of coordination needed with various agents and transport companies. The walls are a bit scuffed from moving crates around, and the floor is just plain cement. We do not have any expensive decor because we are more focused on the practical side of things. The neighborhood is always buzzing with designers and laborers, so there is a lot of energy around. We usually keep the front door open to let some air in, even if it means a bit of dust comes in too. Our team is small, just a few of us handling the orders and making sure everything is labeled correctly. It can be quite stressful when deadlines are approaching, but we usually manage to get everything sorted out in the end. We just do our bit and try to keep the business running smoothly from our little corner of the village without any extra bells or whistles.
