Gopsons

The office is down in the lower ground floor at Shivalik, Malviya Nagar. It’s unit A-292. Being in the basement means it stays a bit cooler during the summer, which is nice. Gopsons has been around this part of South Delhi for some time now. We spend most of our time at our desks dealing with whatever comes through the door. The neighborhood is mostly quiet, though you get the usual city sounds from the street above. It’s a residential area mainly, so we see the same faces every day. We usually get the chai wala to bring us some tea around eleven. There isn't a lot of space, but we make it work with what we have. Shelves are lined with folders and some old equipment we haven't touched in months. We don't really have a big sign outside, so people usually have to look for the address specifically. It’s a simple setup. We don't do much in terms of decorating or anything like that. It’s just a place for work. Sometimes the stairs are a bit annoying when you’re carrying heavy boxes, but you get used to it. Malviya Nagar is a busy place once you get toward the main markets, but our little corner is a bit more relaxed. We like it that way. Most of the people who work here live nearby. It’s easier than commuting across the whole city. We just do our tasks and go home when the day is finished.
