We are located over in Taimoor Nagar, which is part of the New Friends Colony area in New Delhi. Our office is set up in House Number 72, which belongs to Pandit Namechand. It’s more of a residential-feeling spot compared to the big industrial zones, so it stays a bit quieter here. We handle the administrative side of Golden Industries Pvt Ltd from this location. There are boxes of files and some old computers on the desks. We spend a lot of time on the phone or working through documents that come in from the different production units. The neighborhood has changed a lot over the years, with more traffic and new buildings popping up everywhere. We usually start our day around nine, and the first thing we do is clear the mail and check the schedules. It’s a small team here, so everyone ends up doing a bit of everything, from answering the door to filing tax papers. The rooms are a bit cramped because we have so many records stored away. We don't have fancy office furniture or a lobby for visitors. Usually, if someone comes by, they just sit at one of the work tables with us. It’s an honest way to work, and we prefer it this way without all the corporate layers. Most afternoons involve a lot of typing and double-checking numbers before we head home. It’s a steady routine that keeps the company running from behind the scenes.
