Our office is in Anand Niketan, right across from the park at C-55. We are on the barsati floor of the building, which is nice because we get a good breeze when the weather isn't too hot. The name we use is Global Foundation For Advancement Of Environment And Human Wellness. It is a long name for a small group of people, but it is what is on the lease. Being on Road No. something-or-other in Tondon S makes it easy for most people to find us. We look out over the park greenery every morning while we start our work. It is a bit of a climb up the stairs to get to us, but the quiet up here is worth the effort. We have been in this spot for several years now and have gotten used to the neighborhood rhythm. There are usually three or four of us here. We keep things very casual in the office. You won't see anyone wearing a tie or a suit here. We are just regular people interested in environmental things and how the community is doing. New Delhi is a loud place, but this corner of Anand Niketan stays pretty peaceful. We spend time on emails and talking through projects at a big wooden table we found. It isn't a corporate setup at all, just a functional space with a lot of paper and some old computers. We like it that way.
