Global Association Of Indian Medicalstudents

We’re located in South Extension Part 1, at B-3 on the first floor of the housing complex there. The Global Association of Indian Medicalstudents is basically a hub for students who are navigating the medical world. It’s not a big corporate headquarters. It’s more of a place where we sit around and try to figure out how to help students get organized. We have a lot of coffee and spend a lot of time on our laptops. The office in housingndse Part-I is actually in a pretty good spot because there’s a lot going on around us. We get a lot of mail and sometimes students drop by to ask questions about memberships or events. It’s a bit of a mix of a workspace and a meeting spot. The walls have some posters on them, and there are always stacks of forms waiting to be filed. We don't have a receptionist or anything fancy like that. You just walk up to the first floor and knock. We’re usually there from morning until evening. It’s a simple setup for a group that’s spread out across the country. We just happen to have our main base here in this housing unit. It works for us because it’s central and everyone knows where South Ex is. We’re just a bunch of people trying to keep this association running smoothly without too much trouble.
