Girdawari Foundation

Girdawari Foundation is over at Flat No 3, on the first floor of A-7 in Jawahar Park. Khanpur is a busy area, as anyone who lives nearby can tell you. Our space is pretty modest, just a regular flat where we’ve set up our desks and some chairs for visitors. Getting up to the first floor isn't too bad, though sometimes the stairs feel a bit steep if you’ve been out running errands all day. We spend most of our time here trying to sort through the daily tasks that come our way. It’s not a corporate office by any means. There’s usually a pot of tea going and some papers spread out over the main table. Jawahar Park is the kind of place where everyone is always moving, so we try to keep up with that pace. We chose this spot because it's right in the middle of everything. It can get a bit noisy with the traffic outside, but we don't mind it much anymore. We just handle the work as it comes, talking to people from the area and seeing what needs attention. It’s a small team here, so everyone ends up doing a bit of everything, from answering phones to cleaning up. We aren't really into big fancy presentations or anything like that. We just sit in Flat No 3 and do what we can. It’s simple, honest work that keeps us busy from morning until evening. That is just how we like it.
