Gannon Dunkerley & Co. Ltd

Our office for Gannon Dunkerley & Co. Ltd is over at 147A, Sant Nagar. It’s in the East of Kailash area of New Delhi, which is a very busy part of the city. The pin code is 110065. If you’ve ever been to Sant Nagar, you know the streets are narrow and always full of people and scooters. Our building is right in the thick of it. Inside the office, things are a bit cramped but we make it work. We have our desks lined up and there’s barely enough room for all the files we have. It’s a noisy place because of the traffic outside, but you get used to it after a week or two. We don't have any polished lobby or shiny floors. It’s just a regular workplace with some old chairs and a lot of history. Most of us take the metro or a bus to get here, so the first few minutes of the morning are usually spent cooling off from the commute. We drink a lot of water and tea during the day. The work is mostly about keeping things moving and making sure the records are right. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a fancy office. We just need a place to sit and do the job. It’s a real New Delhi experience working here, with all the chaos and the energy that comes with the neighborhood. We close up and head out together.
