So, we are located in Safdarjung Enclave, right on the ground floor at A-1/110. The Federation Of Leaders In Academics Research And Education is a bit of a long name, but we just call it the Federation around here. Being in South Delhi is pretty convenient for us because everything is close by. We do a lot of research work and talk to people in the education sector. It’s mostly just reading, writing reports, and trying to figure out how schools and colleges can do things a bit differently. The office is easy to find since it’s on the ground floor, so no climbing stairs which is a plus. We’ve got books piled up in a few corners because we deal with so much academic stuff. It gets a little cluttered, but we know where everything is. The neighborhood is fairly quiet, which helps when we need to focus on the research side of things. We aren't a giant organization with hundreds of employees. It's just a handful of us who care about learning and teaching. We spend a lot of time on the phone or on our laptops. It's not a flashy job, but it feels useful. We've been at this address for a while and the neighbors are used to seeing us coming and going at odd hours when deadlines are tight. New Delhi can be chaotic, but our little corner in Safdarjung feels like a good place to work.
