We manage things from our spot at 967/8 Govind Puri, near Kalka Ji. The official name is Exakt Estate Management Pvt. Ltd., and we have roots over in Defence Colony too. Managing estates in New Delhi is a bit of a headache sometimes. There’s always a tap leaking, a tenant moving out, or some paperwork that needs signing immediately. We spend a lot of time on our scooters going between Kalka Ji and other parts of the city. The Govind Puri office is our main base. It’s crowded and the streets are narrow, but it’s where the real action is. We deal with real people and real buildings. It’s not about shiny brochures for us. It’s about making sure the rent is paid and the lights work for the people living there. We’ve been around this part of Delhi long enough to know how things work. You can’t be too soft in this business, but you have to be fair. Some days are just spent arguing with contractors or looking at old, rusty pipes. It’s not what they show on TV about real estate. It’s practical and often a bit messy. But we like the rhythm of it. Being in 110019 keeps us close to the properties we look after. We just keep our heads down and do the work, one day at a time, making sure things don't fall apart for the owners. It’s a living, and it keeps us busy.
