Talk about Alaknanda, it is a pretty quiet spot in Delhi compared to most other places. Our office at Yamuna Apartment, C-104, is where everything happens for us. We spend most of our time staring at tracking numbers and answering the phone while the ceiling fan makes a rhythmic clicking sound. It gets loud when the delivery guys come in with their heavy bags and helmets. We have been at this location for a while now. Some days the internet goes out and we just sit there drinking tea waiting for it to come back. It is not a fancy place, just some old desks and a lot of paper stacked up in the corners. People come by to drop off packages for their families or for work. We try to keep things moving as fast as we can. Sometimes the traffic on the main road outside makes things slow down for the vans, but that is just how it is in New Delhi. We know the neighbors in the apartment block pretty well. Most of us live nearby so the commute isn't too bad on the metro. We do not have a big corporate lobby or anything like that. It is just us working through the pile of shipments every morning. You can usually find someone here by eight or nine. The stairs can be a bit of a pain if you are carrying something heavy. We keep a fan going because the Delhi heat is no joke in the summer. It is a basic setup but it works for what we do.
